Hi! My name is Mariana. I'm a writer and illustrator with a background in animation and a post-graduate degree in Children’s Books.
My illustration work has been published in picture books, middle-grade, educational titles and comics.
I love writing and hope to publish more of my own stories soon. Worlds of nature wonder, brought alive by cute animals in colorful, vivid illustrations.
I have also worked on games and animated shows.
Sometimes I teach art to children, as a clever excuse to steal their best story ideas.
I live in Portugal with my illustrator husband, our dogs and way too many chickens.
