Hi! My name is Mariana Flores and I'm an illustrator from Portugal.
I love animals and nature so me and my husband share our country home with two dogs, five pet rats, a lovebird and way too many chicken (I might get some more).
My background is in animation, but I soon found out that my heart is in picture books. In 2018 I went back to school for an amazing post-graduation in Children’s Books.
There, I realized that I've been writing children's books my whole life without ever taking it seriously. Now I'm working on my own manuscripts as both an author and illustrator to hopefully publish them soon.
As an illustrator I´ve worked on over 20 titles, including picture books, chapter books, textbooks and YA covers. I have also worked on board games, digital games, comics and animated shows.
